The DST centi-T is a temperature data logger designed for animal implantation, providing a detailed timeline temperature profile for both short and long term studies in water or on land. Its minimally invasive probe and biocompatible housing make it easy to implant and ideal for use in studies on medium to large captive and free-ranging animals, especially for animal welfare research on mammals and livestock such as cattle, cows, sheep, and pigs. Hermetically sealed and made from biocompatible housing (ceramic and epoxy), ensuring safe implantation and retrieval. Small size (19g) and long battery life – up to 9 years. Stress-free, automatic temperature measurements with no disturbance to the animal. Detailed temperature profile with sampling intervals as short as once every second. Available with extended memory capacity (up to 524,066 temperature measurements). Individually calibrated, each logger comes with a calibration certificate and guaranteed accuracy and performance for one year after purchase.
